One of the most exciting things we do at Perfect Pieces each year is our Seasonal Photo Challenges!
This Newfoundland photo challenge is a fun way to get creative with simple seasonal prompts and weekly Wednesday themes.
They are simple. They are creative. And they are such a fun way to bring our community together.
If you love taking photos, noticing the little things, or just want a reason to slow down and look around, this is for you!
What Are the Seasonal Photo Challenges?
Four times a year, during the first week of March, June, September, and December, I host a week-long Seasonal Photo Challenge.
Each day during that first week, I post a new prompt on my Facebook page. You snap a photo that fits the theme and share it in the comments. That’s it!
And here is the best part. Your photo does not have to be brand new. You can absolutely share photos you have taken in the past too!
At the end of each seasonal week, I choose:

One adult winner who receives a $50 Perfect Pieces gift card

One kids winner who receives a free custom puzzle
To be entered to win, participants simply need to post on at least 5 of the 7 days.
The prompts are designed to be easy and open-ended. You do not need a professional camera. You do not need editing skills. You just need a willingness to join in.
And since we are in Newfoundland, each season shows up in its own way. Spring might still look like snow. Fall might arrive slowly. That is part of the fun! We capture the season exactly as it shows up for us.

The seasonal challenges are just the beginning.
Throughout the rest of the year, I also host regular Wednesday Photo Challenges on my Facebook page. These are just for fun. No prizes. No pressure. Kids are always welcome to participate!
Each Wednesday has a new prompt, and you can share a new photo or something from your camera roll. Either way counts!
It is always amazing to see how different people interpret the same theme. That is what makes it exciting!
